Using RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to
see when websites from all over the internet have added new content
without having to visit them. To do this, you'll need a news reader -
software which checks your feeds for new articles and brings them to you.
News readers include websites such as Bloglines, Newsgator and Google as
well as browsers such as Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. Once you have a
news reader, you can subscribe to any RSS feed, feeds are usually free.
Currently I have one feed for my latest walks. You
can subscribe to a linked feed by clicking the RSS button
then dragging or pasting the feed address into
your news reader. Some browsers detect RSS feeds automatically, allowing
you to subscribe by simply clicking an icon like these
.
You are free to use my RSS feed to automatically
display my latest galleries on your website, providing it is attributed to
me or Cheshirecam.
